Welcome to Canada!!

Ok, so I can't put these pictures in the right spot so just look at them then read about them at the bottom, then you can figure out which picture goes to which story!

This has been a busy few weeks for us. It's been adventurous as well. We start the fun on fathers day. Jason wanted to go for a drive and we ended up overheating and breaking down in Park City. We had great fun getting towed from Park City to Sandy. The cost: $60. Happy Fathers Day to you, Jason!! Turns out that a hose came loose and melted. Of course the Mazda dealership only had one of the two and it took until Tuesday to get the second hose. Jason drove the truck to work and I had the privilege of riding Chandlers bike to work for two days. It's a good thing Santa gave him a new bike! By rear end is still sore from that little bike seat!! Tuesday evening we finally got the car running and we were back in business. Wednesday after work Jason phoned to say he was on his way home then 10 minutes later he phoned and said "you'll never guess what just happened." He had been rear ended at a light! I couldn't believe it. He said that the guy barely bumped him and there was no damage. He and the other driver got out to look at the vehicles and the other drive kept apologizing and tried to give Jason some money. Jason said don't worry about it, no harm done, but the guy insisted that he take the money. Jason said it was a folded $20 bill. The other driver put it in his hand and jumped in his car and was gone. Jason thought it was strange. He got in the car and looked at the money and it was $60! It paid for our tow!! We were quite amazed.

After the excitement with the car we went out for Kodie's birthday. Our baby is 10!! We got the house decorated cute for her and gave her some gifts. She chose to go to Applebees for supper. We had a fun little family party and Kodie had a great day!
Today I got a notice for a certified letter. After work I ran to the post office and picked it up. I was very excited to find out that it contained the kids Canadian Citizenship cards! They are official. They now and forever are on the Canadian government files as Canadians!! We all were so excited. Mom had got a few fun Canadian things for me to give to them and I got to pull them out and give them to the kids. It was an exciting day for us!

your updates are always chock full of info... or maybe it's that I get around so infrequently?

I hate bike riding - even my spin bike - somehow I don't think you should get bruises in places like that. A pair of padded shorts is in the cards if you're ever stuck biking to work full time!
