So, Brad got dad hooked on Diner's, Dive-ins and Dives. It's a great show on the food network where the host drives around the country and tries out little hole-in-the-wall places and tells us what a great place it is to eat! So they did an episode on the Blue Iguana in Salt Lake City and we decided to try it out. It is in the basement of a Bennihana's and we had to ask where the elevator was to get dad down stairs. Our hostess told us where to find the elevator then went to seat mom and the kids. We took the elevator down and came out in the kitchen! We had to wheel dad through the kitchen to get into the restaurant!
This was the cook, Jose. He was very kind and agreed to a picture with dad on our way back through the kitchen to the elevator, which is the grey door in the back ground!
We were enjoying our meals, which were pretty good. Mom really liked her meal, so much in fact she ordered a second one! Actually, they brought her a beef chimichanga and she had ordered chicken, so they made her a chicken one too! Between us, we polished off all the food and came home on full tummies!
We thought of you while we enjoyed our Diner's, Drive-in's and Dives, Brad!
