Gold for Canada!!

We have been in the Olympic spirit more than usual at our house. I think it's because it's in Vancouver and we get to see so much Canadian stuff. We decided to have a Winter Olympics Wii party with a family from the neighborhood. We invited the Arndts over for a tournament. I made Mount Whistler (out of rice krispies) for the treat and we played snowboard cross and curling. The boys won both events, but there were prizes for everyone. We had a great time.

We have "Peasant Vision" for our t.v. provider and thus only get a few basic channels. We have been so frustrated with the Olympic coverage that we get. I was desperate to get the Canadian hockey games so I sweet talked Jason into asking his mom for her user name and password for their Comcast Internet stuff. She was so great about letting us use it and we have been able to log online and watch the games. It makes for a crowded evening around the computer, but Chandler and I discovered we fit quite nicely into the living room chair and can enjoy the game somewhat comfortably!

The kids were playing around one day and Chandler decided to hide in the closet. Jason and Kodie sat down in front of the door and he was locked in. I can relate to that quite well! (Thanks T.J. and Ethan!) They eventually let him out, I think he was about 5 pounds lighter - oh wait, he was IN the pantry - I think he was about 5 pounds heavier when he finally emerged!!

This is Addy. She comes to play at our house on Fridays sometimes! She is a cute little girl and we love having her around. She was laying on the floor playing so I thought I'd try for a few pics. This one was my favorite!

Can you believe we haven't watched anything? We got cable and now we are either watching hunting or Disney/Nick. I am ready to throw the T.V. throught the window. I thought you guys would be watching. More for the scenery then the games.
