mmmm, ice cream!
Scripture time before pancakes!
Today Chandler turned 13! He was so excited and I was so not. I feel really old being the mother of a teenager. I just hope he continues to be a nice teenager, kind of like he's been a nice boy. He woke up early and in a good mood, which is highly unusual. I made him pumpkin pancakes with chocolate chip smiley faces for breakfast, mmm mmm good! Grandma and Grandpa Dickson gave him a Texas Longhorns T-shirt. That put a BIG smile on his face! He had a great day at school, then we went out for dinner. Chandler loves going to Texas Roadhouse. He ordered a steak, medium well, and baked beans. He loves it! He got to open his present from us and was super excited to get a camera. We figured he was old enough for one and with trips and camps coming up he'd probably use it. After a ride on the roadhouse saddle, we headed home. Chandler's busy reading the owners manual for his new camera right now. He had a great birthday! We love him and are so glad he's part of our family!

We Dickson's are so mannerly when we eat out!
Yay! Birthday presents!

Wow. You're old. I don't have a teenager yet so I am still very wrong. (Nevermind I didn't get married until???) Happy Birthday Chandler.
