Kodie and I are planning on making travel bags to take to Germany with us. I bought this fabric for her over Christmas and when she saw is she decided that she didn't like it. It has sat on my shelf for a few weeks and I decided to use it to make myself a new church bag.
We went on a fun family night last night (Thanks Gramma and Grampa Dickson! We used our Christmas gift!) We went to In-N-Out for supper then to the "real" (not the dollar) movies and saw Tangled. We got home about 9:00 and I decided to get my bag going.
I did this without a pattern. I had been thinking about how I was going to make my Germany bag for a number of days and tried to incorporate some of my idea's into this one. I was really pleased with my flower, I think it turned out very cute!
Add a little trim and a handle and Ta DA!!
Chandler has grown so much he was due for a new suit. I took him shopping Friday and this is what we came home with. He looks pretty sharp with a new suit and a fresh haircut!
Julie's 3 year-old, Ashley was so excited to see that her and Kodie both were wearing "Twinkle Toes!"
This is Julie, Ashley, Tanner, Chandler, Kodie and Kaylie at the art exhibit.

So fun to see and hear what is going on in all of your lifes! What a wonderful bag! I bet Kodie would like it now.
Love your bag!!! GERMANY!!? WOW that will be so fun! Maya enjoys reading your blog with me. It makes her miss Kodie and wish they were friends.
Adorable bag!! Love it!
I love it. Emmy asked who that was (Kodie) and looked down and pointed to Chandler and said that's Zack. My kids really don't watch that much tv. I couldn't convince her that was not Zack. You ain't kidding that Chandler has gotten tall.
