We have had this really nasty old hot tub sitting out in the backyard since we moved in here and I wanted it gone. Sandy City clean-up is next week so I sweet talked Big Guy into borrowing a saws-all and we got to work! Joe has been in town for a couple days and he was willing AND happy to help us with this project!! We had to shop-vac the water and ice from the tub then began to pull and cut it apart.
Kodie's job was sucking and dumping the water. 
Joe and I were working REALLY hard. 
Bing did most of the wheeling and dumping. He made great use of his rippling pectorals and hefty biceps. 
Tearing out the edging and insulation. 
mmm, looks like a big piece of cheese!! 
Getting there ... hope Sandy City has a really BIG truck!! 
Wow! It's out. Now we just have to clean up the mess. We were really surprised to find the deck is sitting on a concrete patio. Our next project is pulling up the wood and getting rid of that. Our yard will be looking good soon!

Ali, I don't think I would have let him gone THAT long, but glad he was there to help. It will look great. Save a bit of the wood and make a barbeque seating area in one of the corners. I wished I had thought of that in the trees, BEFORE I burned all the decking. LOL
That is quite the project! Good luck with the rest of your backyard.
