More Home Improvements

The work continues. We have most of the big jobs done and now are working on all the little things. We (dad and I) were trying to put the rest of the handles on the cupboard and he kept dropping the screws. I said, let me do that dad, and then I kept dropping the screws! Dad said, you're not do any better than me! We were working on the utility room and mom went in to clean. She bumped a water thing and water was shooting out everywhere. We couldn't turn it off and the floor drain was clogged. We were all hollering and screaming. We dumped the dirt out of the shopvac and started sucking up water and dumping it out the window. We got the water shut off and got the piped fixed. Kodie sat out in the garage crying hysterically. I asked her what was wrong and she said she was scared and wanted to go home. I said this is home now. She said, I want to go to the basement. (the apartment) I told her we were staying here to work. She said, I just don't want to be here right now. It was pretty funny. She did calm down after a bit and a happy hour drink from the Sonic Drive in. She LOVES the strawberry fruit slushies. We are all so tired and are VERY glad that Sunday is a day of REST!
