Saturday afternoon we decided to spend some quality family time out in the west desert doing a little shooting. We set up a target and an old basket then tried our hand at getting a bulls eye. Kodie hit the basket 3 times in a row! She was feeling pretty good about herself. She decided to use a little bigger gun. She had the stock under her arm so she could reach the barrel. Jason was supposed to have his hand behind it to absorb the kick. Kodie didn't let him know when she was ready so when she fired the gun jumped back and the hammer nibbled on her nose. She had her safety glasses and ear muffs on. I guess next time she will have to use a face mask! Chandler hit the target and basket a bunch of times. I was proud of myself for hitting the target a couple of times and only screaming once! Jason was the best of all of us. I guess he really does do something when he goes "hunting."
