We had a great day on Friday! The kids were off school (again) so we decided to spend the day down at Temple Square. We phoned Uncle Bryan to see if he wanted to meet for lunch. We met him at his work (the church office bldg.) and he took us to the cafeteria for lunch. We had a great time visiting. The kids found it really exciting to keep an eye out for General Authorities. We didn't spot any, but are sure they were there somewhere. Thanks, Uncle Bryan, for a fun lunch! After lunch we took a tour up to the observation deck of the church office building. The view was amazing! The air was really clear and you could see the whole valley. We went on to the Joseph Smith Memorial Bldg. We went to the Legacy Theatre ans saw the Joseph Smith movie. It really touched Chandler, who has been thinking about Joseph Smith and the restoration of the Priesthood lately. We went to the top of that building and looked out over the temple from that view. We went over to the Genealogy library and tried to research the Merrigan line, but ran into a road block and called it quits for the day. We headed home. We made homemade pizza and had pizza and movie night. All in all it was a fun filled Friday!

Seriously! I am so jealous that you get to do all those fun things with your kids. There are lots of UT moms that take for granted all that is in their midsts...you my wonderful friend do not. That is one reason why I love you...
