Happy St. Paddy's Day!

We had a lucky St. Paddy's day. The day started out like any other. Breakfast, piano practice, then off to work and school. We all had a good day. Supper time brought some smiles and fun. We made green food! The kids love it when I dye the food to match the holiday. My mom used to do that when we were kids. I remember Grandpa Hough grossing out over green rice pudding and green Meatloaf?, was it? Anyway, I have carried that tradition on and it's a hit. Thanks mom! We did Hawaiian haystacks, with green rice, green pineapple, green peas, No, I didn't dye the cheese green. We had green banana cream pie with green whipped cream. It was delicious and we felt very lucky to be able to celebrate the day in a fun way!

I usually do green meatballs and green rice but this year we decided Lucky Charms for breakfast was festive enough. Too bad you don't live closer or we would've crashed your feast.
