Parent Teacher Conference
Did you know that now a days the teachers actually want the kids at parent teacher conference? I had no idea that I should have been taking the kids to all of them the last year and a half. Hmm, the things you learn at school. The kids both had P/T conference tonight. It was so nice to hear that our kids are mostly nice, good kids. Chandler pulled off straight A's and his teacher, Mrs. Shreeve, said that the thing she liked best about him is how he can incorporate Canada or hockey into ANY assignment she gives him. He can be VERY creative. Kodie did very well also. She was only 2 grade shy of straight A's. Her teacher said that she really enjoys Kodies bubbly personality (who'd she get that from?!?) and that she is usually very responsible. Kodie was with me because the boys were at scouts, and it was fun to see her interact with Mrs. Cook. Watching and listening to her talk to her teacher made me realize that she not not only her Auntie Kelcie's mini-me in looks, but in her mannerisms and even the inflection of her voice! It's a good thing that Auntie Kelcie is such a great gal! We are so pleased with both the kids and the hard work they put into their education. We are trying to teach them the importance of a good education and it is so rewarding to see the product of their efforts.

I can't believe how much Kodie is like me! Scary! I sure miss you guys and can't wait to be down there in August for a while a lot closer to you. Love you!
Oh chandler he needs to move to Canada and be a hockey player up here and he would be in heaven!
You're blog isn't private right? I can't figure out why googlereader can't read it. I'm always behind on your posts. I love the Oilers' cake. SO cool Alisynn! I know Bryan and Jan love having you guys down there. The kids love going to lunch at Papa's work. Your posts make me want to come down and visit you both in a bad way!
Ahhh I think I figured it out. You're probably not allowing feeds. If you would like to, go to SETTINGS then SITE FEED and click FULL or SHORT in ALLOW BLOG FEEDS. Allowing this won't publish your blog in weird places or anything, it'll just allow the people who'd like to subscribe to your blog to see when you make an update.
You might not be interested, and that's ok, but then again you might. So here you go.
