Park Lane Elementary does a Literacy night once a year. The kids are involved in a readers theatre for each of their classes. Kodie volunteered for her class and Chandler was informed he would be involved after his teacher asked me at parent teacher conference if she could count on him. She just wasn't getting many boys to volunteer and she really needed some. For a kid who chose to sign up for drama class next year in Jr. High (that's right, he CHOSE to be in drama!!) he sure wasn't happy that I volunteered him. They both did a great job. Each class put on the performance twice so we were able to see both. It was easy to see who the dramatic one on the family is!! I wonder where she gets that from.
